Money matters?

"MONEY IS A GOOD SERVANT BUT A BAD MASTER " -French saying

Just a normal beautiful day, with all the friends around and free time to spend, unknowingly we always share philosophical understanding and knowledge on nearly everything. Having an all boys friend circle the philosophical talks have a vivid variety of topics from 'Beautiful girls' to 'Paranormal understanding'. This is majorly happens in every group, each and every group of friends. These so called philosophical topics sometimes take a major toll over your thinking giving you the opportunity to understand life in a different perception.

So today it all started with a cup of tea and regular descriptions about studies and future career options. as the discussion steamed up, our thoughts all aligned at the same place near the end towards "Day Jobs". and from there it was all Mr.Varun Pilankar in the conversation.

We all have this similar impression of "MAKE MONEY, BE HAPPY" and that's not where it ends it is applauded in a higher sense with "MAKE MORE MONEY, BE MORE HAPPY" . This is the generation nowadays and nearly 85% of people around the world think like this. My dad always says;"Make money just enough to feed you twice a day" and this is the total topic about does money really matter?

Why do we need money?
simple... basic necessities

  • FOOD
  • CLOTHING
  • SHELTER
But is that it? Does our human needs end here?...
NO, we need more. More food, More clothing, More shelters, etc and for this; all we need is More money!! The more of everything is being credited as one of those core necessities nowadays. "MONEY CAN'T BUY HAPPINESS", sure it can't but, money can buy materials and this materialistic aspect  has been turned into our aspect of happiness.
But the needs still don't end here and that's where all the problems start. That is the point we turn slaves to our money.

We start running a never ending race of minting money. we grind our ass off to make money, more money; in a such a sad way that we don't even realize our happiness being sacrificed.
What is the meaning to a life where you only stay inside a cubicle counting your money, rather than going out for a nice fancy dinner with your family once in a while, a life where you don't have fun with your homies, where you don't have time for that one true love. How can one be happy minting money while he misses a concert with his friends or a overnight party at a friends place.

On the contrary Yes, making money is important, in every sense it is. To enjoy all this you surely need money, but not the money you made while you brutally murdered your dreams to earn it. What is the use of the money you earned partially killing your soul inside. "One must work hard to be successful", but one must not give up his happiness for his success because success without happiness and fulfillment is incomprehensible.
One day you may earn that huge amount of money you wanted all your lifetime, but you might lose everything that you once enjoyed. There might be a time when you have that fancy car you said you might cry in if money can't buy happiness, But that's the catch you are crying with all you have.
